Ladies 1st Team Vs Sutton Coldfield

A fantastic all-round performance at home against Sutton Coldfield propelled Boots 1's to a convincing 4-1 victory over the away side. 

Once again Boots showed they meant business from the outset and scored early in the first half. After repeatedly pilling the pressure on the oppositions defence they were rewarded with three more goals - all from open play through clever interceptions, breaks and structured set plays.

Solid play in midfield and defence left Sutton Coldfield with little room for manoeuvre and ensured Boots stayed on top throughout. Attacks from the opposition were swiftly picked up in midfield and captain Karen Stevenson in defence was quick to clear any balls threatening the Boots goal. Boots put in one of its finest team performances of the season so far and Naomi Church was awarded player of the match.
