| Match Report | M1s win the derby, in what was likely to be a close hard-fought encounter with local rivals Nottingham, Boots wrestled all 3 points!.. Despite not getting anywhere near the best hockey we have to offer the M1s managed to edge out Nottingham in a close encounter. An early mistake gave Nottingham the lead against the run of play but Lukasz Urbaniak replied with two quickfire goals to put the M1s in the lead after just 14 minutes and the scoring ended there. Boots dominated the 1st half but the game could have gone either way in a sloppy second half performance by the M1s but we hung on to take all 3 points.
