A difficult match against well drilled opposition saw a bright start from Boots, playing the ball well out of defence and creating early chances, only to be thwarted by an impressive opposition goalkeeper. A succession of knocks and injuries meant constant changes to the team. Despite having the majority of possession, a goal each half condemned the team to defeat. Mazza took the man of the match award for a gritty and energetic performance that saw her cover just about every inch of the pitch.
