Match Report | Another great week for Boots Ladies 4’s against Redhill (despite the miserable weather) to continue their excellent start to the season. After a slightly frantic start with Goal Keeper Claire called into action Boots started to settle into the new formation. Boots then started to pile on the pressure with a succession of short corners and shots on goal. After some great passing play and some great running from both wings Captain Claire opened the scoring for Boots. Boots quickly added a second with a little help from the opposition - although Captain Claire is claiming that one as well! Boots took advantage and scored twice more in the first half - the first an excellent effort from Bethan as she continues her goal scoring streak and the second a cheeky reverse hit from Sophie which took the defence and goal keeper off guard. The second half was a great team effort from Boots with excellent passing through the defence and midfield creating some great goal scoring chances - which man of the match Katie took advantage of leaving her defensive position to score a simple tap in! Boots 4’s continue their winning form with another 5-0 victory with a great effort from all the team – all that fitness at training must be paying off! We look forward to the Boots versus Boots battle next week! Written by Katie Ronbinson |
