Congratulations to our newly qualified umpires : )

Posted by Nobody on 5 December 2013

Congratulations go to Jake Fish and Steve Carron, who have both successfully completed their 3 practice matches and passed their practical assessments to complete their Level 1 Umpire Awards.  Their success means that we now have 17 qualified umpires in the club.

Umpiring is an important role in the club and we need to get more people quailified to fulfil our club fixtures.  We have approximately 13 more umpires who are working towards their Level 1 assessment during this season and if successful they will help share the umpiring load in future seasons.

The increase in umpires is a massive step forward for the club and we thank all of those members who help out to ensure the club can sustain itself.

If you are interested in becoming a qualified umpire please chat to Sally Mansfield who is the Umpires Sec.
