International Honours for Boots HC Legend

I'm sure the whole club joins me in congratulating ladies' 1st team legend Lynn Combes on her selection for the final England Masters O40's squad for this season's international matches.
I believe this makes Lynn Boots HC's first international player & is fantastic recognition for all the hard work she puts in whenever she steps onto a hockey pitch plus, of course, her undoubted talent - the only thing that surprised me when I heard the news was that Lynn was old enough to qualify!
For me, coming as it does on the back of our ladies' 1sts first national league season, continuing success for many of our other teams, top class additions to the coaching team and the beginnings of our sixth ladies' team, this is yet more proof that our hockey club continues to go from strength to strength.
Well done Combesy - you'll have to let us know where & when you're playing so we can try to come & cheer you on.
