New Club Coaching Strategy - workshop
Posted by Nobody on 8 October 2018
A new coaching strategy for the club - your chance to have your say!
The club has recognised the need to urgently review our coaching strategy and develop a new approach. This will be in line with England Hockey’s objectives for aspirational clubs and will involve the whole club at all levels.
We need to take action quickly so we are delighted that former club coach Dr Phil Rhodes is able to come and facilitate a Coaching Strategy Workshop on Monday 15 October 8-10pm in the Clubhouse.
We are asking anyone who is interested to come and participate and make your views known
Are you:-
- A current club coach
- Interested in starting to coach or furthering your qualifications
- A team captain or vice captain
- A parent volunteer in the junior academy
- A parent of a junior interested in helping
If so please come and join the discussion. Likely questions we will challenge ourselves with are:
- what are your expectations from coaching as a player or a coach?
- what’s important to you or your team?
- how would you like to progress your own coaching experience?
- if you’re a coach already, how would you like the club to support you
If you want to join the workshop please confirm your attendance with Lizzie Dexter ( Coaching Co-ordinator - eacombes@btopenworld.com or Lynne Morgan Club Development Co-ordinator lynne@lynnemorgan.net or 07801 011 320 . If you can’t come but would like to participate please email lynne@lynnemorgan.net with your views. your wish list or your own personal aspirations.
Any questions? - again please contact Lizzie or Lynne
This is your opportunity to have your voice heard…. Please take it!
Kind regards
