Thank you from the Ladies 1s : )

Just a quick message to say a huge thanks from everyone involved in the Ladies 1s for the emmense support on Sunday for the last EHL Playoff game. It was absolutely brilliant to have so many people at the game and we were gutted that we couldn't build on our 1st half lead and hold on to a place in the National League. It wasn't for the lack of effort and the support from the sideline certainly helped us dig out a performance we were proud of and the noise levels when we took the lead must have give the Chelmsford defence a bit of a nerve jangling.
Also, the squad would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout the season. From sponsors, helpers, supporters; no matter how big or small the contribution, everyone who has helped along the way has enabled us to make sure that our push for survival went on to the very last game of the season.
The squad of players involved have been proud to have represented the club in the National League and most will look forward to trying to get promotion again next season. We say goodbye to a couple of the squad as they move away from the area due to work commitments, however a large core of the squad will stay together, continue to build and strive to be able to sustain a place in the National League. They will be joined by players who have been developing in the club and some new players who have already been in touch with a view to join the club next season.
Sometimes in life you learn as more from failure than you do from success. Whilst the step up to National League has been a challenge, we now know what it's about and what it takes to succeed at that level. That should stand us in good stead in the future.
