Umpiring update 19/20
Posted by Nobody on 27 September 2019
This year we’re excited to bring a new focus to help to improve our umpiring offer… let’s face it – if we have no umpires we can’t play hockey. They are an essential need to our game!
If you would like to be part of our umpiring community or you would like to start your umpiring journey, email umpiring@bootshc.co.uk
Below are a few more details about Level 1 assessments and Young Umpires:
Level 1 Assessments
Calling all unassessed Level 1 Umpires:
Over the next 12 weeks we’d like to get as many umpires assessed and through to Level 1 completed status. If you are interested in being assessed, then simply get in touch and let us know what games you are umpiring and what dates and we can organise someone (an assessor/Level 2 ) to get in touch with you to arrange your assessment.
For assessments you no longer need to worry about how many games you have done… and we can also give you tips and help before you assessments too.
If you are a Level 1 wanting to push up to Midlands or EMHUA we can show you how! If you’re ambition is Level 3 and NPUA – we’ll help you get there. For more information email umpiring@bootshc.co.uk.
Young Umpires
Calling all young umpires (13 – 23) you won’t be forgotten – we’re keen to get as many of our young players through their Level 1 and off to Midlands Young Umpire Group – be part of the team! If you’re interested please email umpiring@bootshc.co.uk
